Employee of the month

I some how was nominated by my superiors/won employee of the month and pocketed $150 extra this week.

How hard is it to tell the difference between a phone cord, ethernet cable & power adapter. Pretty hard it seems.

Everyday at work, we run into trouble when asking people to unplug one of the above mentioned cords. I think even homeless people in war torn countries know what a phone cord looks like. Its usually a pretty safe bet the power cord is the one plugged into the power outlet. That leaves one cord left, it must be the ethernet cord. People seem to be pretty good figuring out the phone cord/ethernet cord, but are stunned about the power cord.

I used to be subtle pointing it out, but have given up on that.
"It's the cord that plugs into your power outlet, it has a big adapter at the end of it, power cord."

"Wet rain"...classic.

I agree about the whole sanitization/corporatization of the internet...it really is sad. Google bought Blogger, CNet bought the old TV Tome site (now TV.com)...I have a feeling it won't even be educational material. Just more ways to make the big corporations richer.

True, and some what on that topic The Hour had an interview with Robert Kennedy last night, and he was talking about how tv, radio, newspapers, and internet in the US are run by basicly 6 companies who have bought up everything. I guess its pretty much the same here with Bell, Rogers, Chum and a few others.

As I read it, it will be the end of US pr0n. They will instead come to Canada to do the shoots, or other countries, where these laws have no jurisdiction. We may be able to one day meet Little April, Tiffany Teen, or Teen Topenga if they are in town for a shoot.

I think sites based in the states like sublimedirectory will suffer, but hey, thehun is based out of....the netherlands if memory serves me right. Im sure that will be a final jeopardy question some day.

haha yes, I'm sure someone is plotting to buy the former riverview lounge to turn it into a studio as we speak. Maybe the government will have a special immigrent law to allow pornstars to move here. I believe Canada is suggesting the US get rid of the new law as it goes againts canada's privacy protection laws, so hopefully they win and the canadian made content can still be distributed in the US. Either way though I agree there will still be lots of it on the internet from here and other countries.
